Parlor 424 Policies
We do not expect tips; ultimately a client referral replaces gratuity in a way that validates our art, education, and creativity. This confirms our professionalism and expands our horizons.
Appointments are not necessary but highly recommended. We will try our best to accommodate walk-ins but offer no guarantee that any of our designers will be available. We highly suggest that you also reserve your next two visits prior to leaving the Parlor to ensure your preferable appointment times.
Parlor 424’s service prices vary and reflect the level of expertise of each stylist. As our stylists are always striving to perfect their craft, these prices are subject to change without notification. The prices listed on our website are our Studio Stylist level.
To properly prepare for your initial color/texture service, we ask all first time guests to schedule a consultation to insure a personalized service. At this time your image profile, service reservation, take home hair care, and price are discussed. The consultation fee is credited to your initial service investment.
We ask for a minimum of 24 hours notice for cancellations. Guests who cancel or miss an appointment within 24 hours without contacting Parlor 424 will be required to prepay for any future services. But we do understand personal emergencies, and in the event of such an emergency, please contact us at your earliest convenience so that we may work with you on rescheduling your appointment. In addition, any guest arriving more than 15 minutes after their original appointment time may be asked to reschedule or will not receive all the benefits of the services reserved per the designer’s discretion.
We strive to create a consistent, safe, and relaxing experience for all of our guests. To ensure this type of environment, we ask that children ONLY visit when they are receiving services. We understand that occasions arise for children to be present. If so, children of any age must be under your DIRECT supervision at all times while in the salon. If you must bring children with you for your service, we ask that a second adult be present to provide direct supervision of the child during your visit.
Our team of professionals make product suggestions for each client based on their style and maintenance needs. We do not expect any client to be able to achieve our results without using Aveda products. We ONLY guarantee our color and styling work when our prescribed regimens are followed. Unlike most salons, Parlor does not force quotas upon our team for “selling” products. Our recommendations are purely for the benefit of our clients and our business.
We stand behind all services, products and tools we offer in our salon with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If your experience has been disappointing in any way, please inform your designer within 48 hours of your appointment and we will do our best to address any service issue. We will NOT guarantee our services if they have been altered by another salon, at home, or if non-recommended products have been used. Products or tools in their original condition (including any boxes) purchased at Parlor 424 may be returned or exchanged within 30 days with proof of purchase. If you feel like you are having issues with your purchase, we will gladly offer a complimentary styling lesson demonstrating how to use your product or tools.
We support Parlor hair stylist polygamy! If your Parlor stylist is booked and you need your hair done for a meeting, special event, or you’re just want to try a different Parlor designer, just let us know and we’ll try our best to accommodate.
All gift certificate purchases are FINAL SALE. Gift certificates themselves are non-refundable, non-redeemable for cash, and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen. Certificates must be redeemed within one year of purchase.
Returned checks are processed a $30 service charge.
We collect personally identifiable information, like names, postal addresses, email addresses, etcetera. This information is only used for Parlor 424 communication, and will not be shared with any third party.
